Home and Away actor Kestie Morassi, 39, shares her day on a plate.
7am A small bowl of homemade bircher muesli I prepared the night before with raw oats, frozen raspberries, walnuts, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, dates and desiccated coconut with full-fat soy milk.
9.15am A granny smith apple while I spend an hour getting my hair and make-up done at the Channel 7 studios.
Noon A hard-boiled egg as a snack.
1.30pm A salad with turkey, baby spinach, roasted pumpkin, carrot, raw mushroom and tabouli, topped with hummus.
4pm A cacao, peanut and coffee protein ball, rolled in coconut.
6.30pm At a tapas restaurant I have sardines in olive oil, jamón, pickled peppers in vinegar, a few olives, a few crackers and soft cheese. I drink a mineral water.
9pm Two squares of 90 per cent dark chocolate and a small punnet of blueberries.

Soaking wholegrains helps with digestion and the combination of oats, nuts, seeds and berries delivers a combination of different fibre types, slow-release carbs, an array of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants and good fats, while the soy milk boosts the protein level.
If you keep eating like this you'll … Nourish your body nicely, although you could include a broad array of different vegies in both cooked and raw forms as there are advantages to both. Aim for filling half your plate with vegies at two meals each day.
Why don't you try … When eating out, order at least one side of vegies. Be sure to include brassica vegies, such as broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage or brussels sprouts, at least twice a week. Research has shown these to be particularly good for gut health.
