- Dr. Pimple Popper is back for season three and the trailer dropped today.
- The show will premiere on TLC at 9/8 c on July 11th.
- As usual, Dr. Pimple Popper’s goal is not cosmetic, but emotional.
If you’ve just hit replay on the ooziest, most oddly satisfying Dr. Pimple Popper YouTube video you can find for the umpteenth time today, girl, do I have news for you: Dermatologist Sandra Lee, MD, is back for season three of her hit TLC show, Dr. Pimple Popper, on July 11, and the network just dropped the hair-raising trailer.
Before you stop paying attention to me entirely and press play, let me warn you that, based on this minute and 40 seconds alone, this season will NOT be for the faint of heart. Season three’s lipomas are big and its cysts are full.
Right from the start of the video, Dr. Pimple Popper shows a handful of “how did that happen?” cysts. “Something is growing on the top,” says one woman, explaining a growth on the top of her head. Right after, a man covered in scaly patches says his skin “feels like somebody poured gasoline on me.” Oof.
We’re squeezing the most out of summer with these SCORCHING POPS! 💥

Also on display in the teaser video: a man who has “nodules” so big on his nose it inhibits his breathing, a boy with a large brown rash on his neck subject to “poop neck” taunts, and a woman with extremely large growths (possibly keloids) on both of her ears that “cause headaches.”
After a short moment dedicated to showing how much Dr. Pimple Popper cares about her patients (she tells one his skin is “important to treat because it helps to treat your head”), the video segues into what people are really after: a popping compilation.
The final 46 seconds of the video is dedicated to slicing open cysts, popping overgrown blackheads, and Dr. Pimple Popper getting pimple gunk squirted on her scrubs. Basically, it’s everything you could ever want in a Dr. Pimple Popper popping roundup.
Season three of Dr. Pimple Popper premieres on TLC on July 11 at 9/8c. While you wait, you can catch up on season two which wrapped in March, or check out Dr. Pimple Popper’s super-active Instagram account and YouTube channel, which she updates regularly. Trust me, it’s goopy and worth it.
