Jennifer Lopez is turning 49 today, but you wouldn’t know it by looking at a recent photo she posted on Instagram on Monday.
The sexy pic she took after her gym sesh features her wearing tight workout pants and an abs-flaunting top. Yeah, that’s right, J.Lo snuck in a hardcore sweat before her birthday festivities. (#Goals, anyone?)

The singer and mom shared on her Instagram Stories some cute moments spending quality time with her 10-year-old twins, Emme and Max, and boyfriend Alex Rodriguez’s daughters, Ella and Natasha, at the beach.

But she didn’t get that ripped body by taking too many days off. In 2015, Jennifer told Us Weekly that she “very rarely skips a workout.”
The entertainer, who has a residency show in Las Vegas called “All I Have,” spends a lot of her time dancing on-stage, but she’s not opposed to breaking a sweat the old-fashioned way: at the gym.

“Sometimes when I get home and I’m not feeling so great, I make myself go to the gym,” she told Redbook in 2010. “Then I come home and take a shower, put on a great outfit, some makeup, tie my hair up, and I feel pepped up and great about myself.”
“She’s genetically blessed, she’s physically gifted with an incredible amount of physical energy, but also this beautiful amount of mental and emotional energy,” her trainer, David Kirsch, told People in 2017. “She’s very connected to her body, and she’s got crazy discipline.”
