Seeing as everyone is on the hunt for a new and improved summer hairstyle, every snap of excellent hair posted on Instagram provides noteworthy inspiration. Anne Hathaway's is the latest hair look we're saving so we can ask our hairdressers to recreate it for us as soon as possible. In an Instagram post on April 6, the actor paired her honey-blonde-highlighted hair with minimal (or no) makeup, oversized fuchsia sunglasses, a big bottle of water, and a bomber jacket — an ideal off-duty look.
Having previously wowed us in January (which honestly feels like it was a century ago), with side-swept, French-girl bangs while promoting her movie Locked Down, Hathaway's latest selfie demonstrates how to wear curtain bangs — which, if you somehow haven't heard, are wildly trendy these days — for everyday outings as opposed to formal events. Wearing her part to the side, her wind-swept fringe perfectly frames her face and adds a detectable touch of French insouciance to her look. In fact, the famed French singer/songwriter Françoise Hardy springs to mind. The subtle blonde highlights through her lengths only added to the effect.

You will be spending much more of your time blow-drying, in all honesty, but we think we can all agree that Hathaway's windswept look is proof that it'll be worth it.
