The Corona-pandemic keeps the world in suspense: More than 15 million people have been infected with the Coronavirus, 206.467 of them in Germany. The United States reported almost daily new record numbers.
Hong Kong remained, as yet, of the Corona epidemic largely spared. Until now. The cases fast to the top. The Johns Hopkins University registered recently 145 cases in just one day. A record for the Chinese special administrative region with nearly 7.5 million inhabitants. Chief Secretary Carrie Lam warns, therefore, already now: "We are on the verge of a major outbreak. This could lead to a collapse of the hospital system. And many people – especially old – the cost of living." Lam spoke of "local Ausbrüchen", the "Of origin is not always clear sei".

Hong Kong was in spite of the proximity to Wuhan, the Virus away. Therefore, there was no major action and no Lockdown. The changes now. Lam imposed, for example, a contact ban for more than two people and includes Restaurants.
