Once upon a time, Taco Bell introduced Nacho Fries and all was right in the world. But the fries disappeared sometime last summer, leaving devastated fans in their wake. Now, nacho fries are back—and they’ve got a cool new twist.
Nacho fries, the crunchy, seasoned fries that are served with nacho cheese, will hit a Taco Bell near you on January 30, first reported by Thrillist. Set a calendar alert now!!!
They’re not just coming back, though. A Taco Bells spokesperson told us that they’ll have an “all-new flavor innovation that’s sure to receive critical and fan acclaim.” No word on what this could possibly be (new spices? A funky new cheese sauce?), but we will keep on speculating/dreaming about what it could be.
Nacho Fries have been on and off the Taco Bell menu since they were first introduced in 2018, and they’re no joke. You can have them as is, or you can add things like Supreme or Bell Grande toppings to make them next-level. And, if you really want to go all in with the fries, you can add actually them to your Taco Bell order, like inside a burrito, on top of nachos…the only limit is your imagination.
Nacho Fries were last spotted on the official Taco Bell menu back in August, before they were cruelly yanked away. No word on how long they’ll stick around this time…but let’s hope it’s forever.
