We’ve flipped the calendar to November, which means that it’s officially the holidays. Thanksgiving, I’m sorry my friend, but you tend to get pretty overlooked in favor of the winter holidays. Sometimes I feel bad about that, and then I see something like Dunkin’s new holiday menu and I suddenly feel amazing.
Dunkin’ is coming out with its biggest holiday menu ever this year and the return of fan-favorite drink, the Peppermint Mocha. There’s a whole lot of exciting stuff here, so let’s break it down shall we?
First up, let’s go over what’s new here: Dunkin’ announced four new signature seasonal lattes that are full of winter flavors. These flavors should sound pretty familiar to anyone who is a fan of holiday beverages but they are brand new to Dunkin’.
First up is the Holiday Eggnog Signature Latte which features eggnog and cinnamon topped with whipped cream, caramel drizzle, and cinnamon sugar. Next is the Merry Mocha Mint Signature Latte which includes a classic Peppermint Mocha flavor (more on that later!) topped with whipped cream, mocha drizzle, and hot chocolate powder. Putting hot chocolate powder on top of anything is a total game-changer in my book.
The Toasted Gingerbread Signature Latte is next with gingerbread, marshmallow, and chocolate flavors together all topped with whipped cream, caramel drizzle, and cinnamon sugar. Finally, the new items are rounded out by the Frosted White Chocolate Signature Latte which has white chocolate flavor topped with whipped cream, caramel drizzle, and cinnamon sugar.
Dunkin’ also has two new holiday coffee flavors: Gingerbread S’mores and Winter White Chocolate, both of which you can get in a hot and iced coffee, cold brew, espresso drink, frozen coffee, and frozen chocolate. But arguably the drink getting the biggest buzz this year is one that’s not exactly new to Dunkin’ fans. The chain is bringing back its beloved Peppermint Mocha coffee flavor this year after taking a year off.
All of these drinks will be served in Dunkin’s new bright-pink holiday cups with phrases on them like “celebratin’,” “sleighin’,” “wrappin’,” and “dashin’.” I think hot pink should officially become a holiday color now because it’s extremely chic.
As if that wasn’t enough, there will be a new Holiday Brownie Crumble Donut, which is a vanilla frosted yeast donut dipped in brownie crumbles and drizzled with dark green icing. OK! I think that’s enough holiday excitement to get anyone truly buzzing.
The holiday menu debuts at participating Dunkin’ shops on November 6, but true devotees can get access to the Peppermint Mocha Coffee by ordering it via Dunkin’s On-the-Go Mobile Ordering. It’ll all be available for a limited time, so hop in your sleigh ASAP if you want to pick anything up. Now if you’ll excuse me, sharing all that news has made me exhausted and I need to get a latte of my own.
