Europe’s Strongest Man debuted his new gym, and it’s pretty goddamn epic. Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson, aka The Mountain on Game of Thrones, opened Thor’s Power Gym in Iceland earlier this week, and if this YouTube video is any indication, the gym is equipped with everything a powerlifter could ever dream of.
Upon entrance, the first thing you’ll see is the dumbbell rack. The weights range from 5 to 150 pounds (68 kg), but since that’s not enough weight for almighty Thor, he ordered heavier dumbbells specifically for himself. “Sometimes other guests use them, but mostly me,” the Icelandic giant boasts in the video.
On the first floor there are also two deadlift stations along with multiple bench press and squat racks. The second floor has equipment primarily for back and legs. There’s a rowing machine, leg extension, and curl machines, along with a leg press machine with well over a thousand pounds of weights.
Last but not least there’s a kitchen, shoe-changing station, and an office for when Thor needs to get his work done. Of course, there’s also a gift shop—Thor’s Power Store—where The Mountain prominently displays his trophies and sells merchandise.
While he no longer holds the title of strongest man in the world—he placed third at the 2019 World’s Strongest Man Competition—he is still the strongest man in Europe. He’s also consistently medaled at the World’s Strongest Man Competition every year since 2012.
