How This Fitness Blogger Transformed Her Butt In A Matter Of Seconds

In case you missed Karina Irby’s booty selfie recently, Instagram is alllll about smoke and mirrors. And no one knows this better than body positive blogger Sia Cooper, the woman behind the popular Instagram account @diaryofafitmommyofficial.

Lately, she’s been on a mission to put an end to unrealistic beauty ideals by exposing how different angles can totally change your body shape.  

“PSA: UNDERWEAR PLACEMENT MATTERS,” she captioned a side-by-side mirror shot.

“If you hike your undies up really high, it’ll give an illusion of a tinier waist and bigger bum. Just another popular trick amongst Instagram fitness models! So don’t be fooled.” 

The result is undeniable. By pulling her underwear up over her hips, her butt appears rounder and her waist more sculpted.

But to be clear, this wasn’t Sia suggesting her followers stretch out their Calvin Kleins every time they want the perfect shot. It was merely a much-needed reminder that sometimes, all is not as it seems:

“Be you. Don’t fall into the trap of comparison. Work hard and trust the process,” she said.

“PS. Having a 24/7 wedgie is not fun under any circumstances.”

Days later, she further proved her point by sharing a photo of her “real booty” vs her “IG booty.”

“It’s amazing what a little bending forward, hiking up your underwear, arching your back, and sticking your booty out can do,” she wrote. “A picture is just a split second. We all look different from different angles.”
