- Former Bachelorette and current Dancing With the Stars contestant Hannah Brown just showed off her toned abs at the People’s Choice Awards on Sunday.
- She also won the award for Competition Contestant of 2019.
- Hannah got her abs by doing a variety of workouts and doing 5-6 hour DWTS rehearsals.
Former Bachelorette and current Dancing With the Stars contestant Hannah Brown won the People’s Choice Award for Competition Contestant of 2019 at last night’s show—and looked crazy fit while she was it. The award was certainly a big deal (Congrats, Hannah!), but let’s be real: all eyes were on the reality star’s seriously sculpted abs.
Hannah wore a gorgeous maroon dress that was full of cutouts that highlighted the insane shape she’s in. Clearly, all that DWTS training is paying off.
So, how did Alabama Hannah get those (now) world-famous abs? She previously told Woman’s Day what her exercise and dance rehearsal schedule looks like.Apparently, Hannah likes to mix up her workouts, and she does everything from high intensity interval training (HIIT) to boxing to yoga to dance cardio classes.
But DWTS rehearsals typically last five to six hours per day, according to Hannah. “I sometimes say like ‘Oh man I wish this was like a year ago when I was in shape and always at the gym so it wouldn’t be this hard,’ because eating croissants every day on The Bachelorette and then going straight into this kind of set me back a little bit,” Hannah said with a laugh. “But I feel like I’m one of those people who step up to the plate and do what I gotta do and I’m getting back into the swing of things.”
Hannah also opened up to People about exactly what she eats in a day since she’s been competing on DWTS. And it includes candy.
“I try to eat healthy when I can, but no one can take my candy away from my bedside!” she told the publication. “I always keep it there for a treat when I wake up!”
Here’s everything else she munches on in between studio sessions:
Early-Morning Munchies: Handful of Red Vines
Breakfast: Bacon-and-egg breakfast burrito from Erewhon
Snack: Greek yogurt with blueberries
Lunch: 5 oz. steak, 1 cup garlic broccoli, ½ cup mac and cheese
Snack: Strawberry-and-pineapple smoothie
Dinner: Penne pasta with sun-dried tomatoes, 3 oz. mushrooms, spinach and red pepper flakes
Late-Night Snack: Dark chocolate
Water: 2 bottles
Total Calories: 1,859
Oh, and Hannah also loves cookies, since she did a taste test of tons of protein cookies for Women’s Health.
