Also in the summer many people want to pull out your training plan, of course, as usual, your physical Fitness, maintain or expand.

However, often the high summer temperatures come to this project in the way.

Then, for many of them is actually motivated by the question: In a closed room with heavy Weights, sweating, or prefer to be friends with the beautiful day at the lake spend?

A FIT-FOR-FUN survey in cooperation with the opinion research Institute Civey shows now, who restricts his personal workout schedule at the high summer temperatures, and those who train merrily.

In the survey, a total of 2.504 people took part in the investigation period from the 24.06.2020 to 06.08.2020, the members in a fitness Studio or sports club.

The Training must now wait

The temperatures hold in many places, been a Constant over the 30 degree mark. This seems to have some hard established Gym-course gutters and not to disturb-goers, however.

After all, 36.7 per cent reported in the survey to your workout due to the high temperatures do not restrict.

With around 53 percent, a clear majority prefers, however, considered that regular gym visits to shut down and enjoy the weather.

Especially women change down a gear

In hot temperatures into the Gym to lug, to sweat there even more? Especially women have, apparently, not much in the mood.

Almost 60 per cent of the surveyed women stated that their Training in the gym in the summer heat limit. For men, there are at least ten percent less, the Training time for a robbery.

It seems to make a difference, whether the respondents live in the countryside or in a big city.

Persons who have their domicile in a place with a very high population, abstain significantly more (around ten percent) on the trip to the gym.

Younger athletes will interfere with less heat

A clear Trend can be seen in the closer look on the age of the User: the older the respondents are, the more likely they are to renounce in the high summer to the training sessions.

While the 18 – to 29-Year-olds, only 36 percent think of reducing your training background, the respondents over 65 years of age, 64 percent.

The survey results will surprise you less, considering the extra load that brings the heat to the entire body.

But not only older persons, younger persons can travel in the height of summer calm to a lower gear and your sport units to the weather adjust.

If you want to train, you should move the Workout in the cooler hours of the day i.e. in the Morning or evening, to protect their own health.

Then nothing more is an intense workout, but in the way.
