Pregnancy tests and ultrasounds are the only sure ways to determine you’re pregnant.
But there are other signs and symptoms you can look out for if you suspect you might be expecting a baby.
Symptoms of pregnancy can often be mistaken for day-to-day issues, so it’s important to be aware of them.
Every pregnancy is different, so you may have multiple of these signs, or none of them.
Below are the early pregnancy symptoms the NHS recommends to look out for.
1. Missed period
This is the earliest and most reliable sign you are pregnant, if you have a regular monthly cycle.
2. Morning sickness
Although it is called morning sickness, it can happen at any time of the day.
However, if you can’t keep anything down the NHS recommends to see a GP.

3. Changes in breasts
Breasts may appear bigger or feel bigger, like they do before a period.
They may also tingle, or the veins may show more.

9. Going “off” certain things
