To carry out the simple test, you need a bowl you can place your hands in.
Fill the tub with ice-cold water, before submerging your digits.
After 30 seconds, remove your hands and look at your fingertips.
Apparently, it’s “good news” if you fingers have turned red in colour.

The website says this outcome suggests “heart and blood circulation are healthy”.
But if your fingers go pale or blue in the water, it could be cause for concern.
The article suggests this is an indicator of “low oxygen levels in your blood cells” or “problems getting oxygenated blood into your body”.
While the short experiment may be able to tell you something about your heart, it’s not a very advanced method.
It’s best to see a doctor for advice if you have concerns about your health.

Alternatively, you can head to the NHS website to conduct a “heart age” test.
The short survey asks a number of questions, such as asking if you smoke or have diabetes.
It then tells you whether or not you’re at risk of cardiovascular problems.
Dr Matt Kearney, from NHS England, said: “The heart age test is a simple and effective online device with the potential to help millions of people."
Simon Gillespie, from the British Heart Foundation, added: "It's never too late to change.
"Take the test, and if you are concerned by the age of your heart, make an appointment to see your GP."
