As far as photographic evidence goes, the keto diet kills it in the weight-loss department. (I mean, the before-and-after photos are un-freaking-believable.)
But uh, when you get down to it—counting your macros, finding delicious keto recipes, mourning your loss of bread—the keto diet can be hard AF to follow. (Who has time to track every carb to make sure you stay in ketosis? Not me, that’s for sure.)
Luckily, there’s a special keto diet app that can help you start (or stick to) the plan. TG, right?
KetoDiet and KetoDiet Basic are two apps that promise to help people calculate their macros, and/or plan and track their keto diets effectively. They also provide subscribers with expert advice from the KetoDiet Blog, which includes input from two registered dietitians.
The apps, created by Martina Slajerova, author of multiple books including The KetoDiet Cookbook and Keto Slow Cooker & One-Pot Meals, also offers up a bunch of recipes (300, to be exact) and nutritional info for 1.65 million popular foods, products, and restaurant meals to help you track your keto meals right on your phone.
As if taking all of the guesswork out of your keto diet wasn’t enough, the app also recently started up their 60-Day Keto Diet Challenge, which is free for anyone to join (so, it’s a great way to give the app a try without paying for it just yet).

The challenge offers to help you “kick-start your healthy low-carb diet”–by sharing three exclusive keto diet plans and introducing you to a community of keto dieters and experts. Those on the challenge can also enter to win prizes like an Instant Pot, iPhone, and cookbooks, among other things, according to the KetoDiet app’s Instagram.
