Sometimes a classic breakfast is the best breakfast. Martha Stewart has a few simple, yet effective secrets that can help us all cook the tastiest scrambled eggs. So what are her key tips on getting them perfect? In a video shared to her website, titled “Scrambled Eggs 101“, she revealed that in order to get those delicious, golden eggs you should “cook them over low heat and keep them moving in the skillet and use enough butter to make them not stick.”
She threw in a few extra tips that we definitely wanted to share. She mentions that you should whisk the eggs with a fork and make sure to use a pan that is on the smaller side. Stewart also shared that you don’t any additive such as milk, cream or water; “if you have really good eggs, you don’t need anything in the eggs at all.” She also shared that you definitely don’t want the pan to get too hot. You know the pan is ready for the eggs when the butter is hot enough that “when you drop a little bit of moisture in it, it will splatter.” One last tip from Stewart is to “always put your eggs, if you can, on a heated plate…and thats it.”
