Jenna Jameson has been super open about how much she loves herself and her body—at any size. But getting to this place has been a journey, to say the least.
Jenna Jameson recently opened up on Instagram about her former use of Photoshop—and how she wishes knew back then what she knows now. “Let’s talk photoshop,” she wrote in her Instagram post. “It’s a dirty little secret. I used to do it all the time. I felt ashamed of my postpartum body…I feel shame I was ashamed.”

Let’s talk photoshop. It’s a dirty little secret. I used to do it all the time. I felt ashamed of my postpartum body. Ugh. I feel shame I was ashamed. I’m sad society puts such unrealistic “SnapBack” goals on women. I wish I would have understood that I wasn’t going to be mocked for being 200 lbs but to be honest I’m still not sure I wouldn’t have. I hope we get to a point where us women feel comfortable in every phase of our lives. Your beautiful, supportive comments lift this community up… your love doesn’t go unnoticed. #photoshop #postpartumbody #ketodiet #postpartum #selflove #supportotherwomen

Jenna goes on to blame the “unrealistic” goals placed on women after giving birth. “I’m sad society puts such unrealistic ‘SnapBack’ goals on women.”
Jenna said she wishes she would have understood that she wasn’t going to be mocked for being 200 pounds at her heaviest, “but, to be honest, I’m still not sure I wouldn’t have.” She ended on this note: “I hope we get to a point where us women feel comfortable in every phase of our lives. Your beautiful, supportive comments lift this community up… your love doesn’t go unnoticed.”
Still, Jenna says she loves her body at any size. In a previous Instagram post, Jenna shared a before-and-after photo of herself on the keto diet. “Truth. I thought I was still sexy af in my before pic. I was right,” she wrote.
She continued: “My weight loss was never about pleasing society. Yours shouldn’t be either. It’s about health, it’s about keeping up with our kids, it’s about longevity. So stay sexy out there, but strive for health!”
Kudos to her for so damn honest all the time.
