Ingredients for approx. 200 g powder

For the vegetable broth powder

  • 1 dehydrator
  • 300 g carrots – peel, cut lengthwise into very thin slices
  • 220 g of celeriac – peel, in very thin slices
  • 200 g tomato – wash, remove the stem, cut them in quarters and complete(!) core
  • 60 g mushrooms – cut into slices
  • 1 tablespoon crystal salt
  • 20 g of parsley

Preparation

Preparation time: approximately 10 minutes

All the ingredients, except the salt, on the mats of the Dörrgeräts distribute, and at 42° C for approximately 48 hours to dry. You can dry the vegetables even at 50 °C in the oven. Here, the drying time is shortened somewhat, but the raw quality is lost as a result.

After Drying the vegetables together with the salt in a powerful blender for about 1 – 2 Min. process to a fine powder. Subsequently, the vegetable powder in a sealing glass container fill.

For use as a vegetable, the appropriate amount and work into the water, stir in broth. You can use the powder without any liquid as a fine spice.

In a dry and dark stored the vegetable broth is powder approximately 2 months.
