- Dr. Pimple Popper (a.k.a., dermatologist Sandra Lee MD) shared a new Instagram video today of herself extracting a dilated pore of Winer
- Dilated pores of Winer are essentially large blackheads.
- Dr. Pimple Popper compared this dilated pore of Winer to a pothole, since it can fill back up after you extract its contents.
Dr. Pimple Popper is back with another dilated pore of Winer—just in time to kick off your Friday night (a.k.a., sitting down on the couch scrolling through Dr. Pimple Popper videos until you realize, crap, it’s already 2 a.m.).
In her newest Instagram video, dermatologist Sandra Lee, MD, shared a “true dilated pore of Winer,” she said. Her caption? “💥POW💥 This Dilated Pore of Winer is here to save the day!” (Get it? POW = pore of Winer.)
You can see Dr. Pimple Popper squeeing the huge blackhead (it actually looks like a hole, tbh), on a woman’s skin. While talking to the woman, Dr. Pimple Popper finds out that she already had a dilated pore of Winer in the same spot before—and it came back. “That’s the thing because it is a pore and it’s dilated already so that’s why it comes back, because there’s an opening there,” she said. “It’s like a little pothole that just fills up.”

Dr. Pimple Popper also tells the woman she often jokes with her patients “that you could smuggle diamonds in it, if you wanted to,” referring to those with empty dilated pores of Winer. Honestly, her visuals and descriptions are always on point.
“If you want to make sure this is not going to come back, I would…” Dr. Pimple Popper Says, before the video cuts out. GASP—what would you do, Dr. Pimple Popper?
According to another video by Dr. Pimple Popper, your best bet at avoiding a recurring dilated pore of Winer is to remove the cyst membrane (the part of the pimple that separates it from your actual skin), though with a large dilated pore of Winer, there’s always a chance the blackhead will come back if the pore is still open.
Honestly, I guess that means Dr. Pimple Popper will never go out of business, as long as dilated pores of Winer keep on forming…and I’m here for it.
