Watch Mike Tyson, 53, Show Off Devastating Speed and Strength in a New Training Video

Earlier this week, former world heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson made a surprise announcement that he was training for a comeback to the ring as part of a series of charity fights. In a podcast interview with the rapper T.I., Tyson also opened up about the challenges of taking on a grueling training regimen at the age of 53.

“I do two hours on cardio, I do the bike and the treadmill for an hour, then I do some light weights, 300, 250 reps,” as Men’s Health reported earlier this week. “Then I start my day with the boxing thing, I go in there and hit the mitts, 30 minutes, 25 minutes, start getting in better condition. I’m starting to put those combinations together… I’m in pain, I feel like three guys kicked the shit out of me.”

Since then, however, the plot has only thickened, with rumors that fellow heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield, 57, could be mounting a comeback of his own. That development has sparked rumors that fans may get to see a “trilogy fight” between the two legends in the near future.

While promoting the comeback, Tyson has taken to his Instagram to give fans a first-hand look at the hard work he’s putting in. In his most recent post, Tyson also safely puts to rest any idea that he’s lost his edge, with a terrifying video montage that shows off his still-very-impressive speed and brutal strength, landing devastating series of blows on his (unfortunate) trainer’s pads. The clip concludes with Tyson abruptly turning to the camera and declaring, “I’m back.” Hard to argue with that.

Celebrities were quick to react in the post’s comments—while also making it clear they wouldn’t be volunteering as Tyson’s sparring partner anytime soon. “I don’t want no problems, big dawg,” wrote the comedian HaHa Davis. “I felt those shots just watching this,” added bodybuilder Kai Greene.

Your move, Mr. Holyfield.
