Men build extreme muscles, endanger their fertility

Wide 100 Kilo bench-built, tanned,: in Order to be considered as attractive, many men go to the gym to build as many muscles – and to help it is not uncommon for steroids. The latter can, however, make it infertile.

A Paradox that, as reported by BBC, is named after two researchers who described the phenomenon first: the Mossman-Pacey-Paradox. The BBC said James Mossman of Brown University: “I had noticed that some of the men who wanted to make a fertility test, were huge.” In his studies he explored then the connection between the abuse of anabolic steroids and infertility. Mossman said that many of these men tried, as broad as possible to look. “As the crown of creation.” However, it is precisely in the area of Evolution and of creation itself they were thus out of action, because “without exception, they had no sperm in your ejaculate,” says Mossman.

What anabolic steroids do?

Anabolic steroids are synthetic derivatives of the hormone testosterone. Exactly how testosterone anabolic steroids increase protein formation in the cells, particularly in muscle cells. They also stimulate the appetite, which means the body receives more material to produce even more muscle mass. Without steroids, it wouldn’t have extreme muscle men, as the greatest times of Bodybuilding,. However, since steroids have to mean a massive intervention in the hormonal balance of the body, could it happen that two hormones are less produces hormones, which play a key role in the production of sperm.

Professor Allen Pacey of the University of Sheffield adds: “Is it not ironic that men go to the gym, great look to attract women and reduce unintended fertility?” Also, Pacey believes that more and more men who take anabolic steroids, are barren, as you’d think – “90 percent likely”.

“This Information could save you grief”

The irony is the One. More important, according to Pacey, however, that men were aware of the danger to patients wishing to have children to help better. “It appears again and again in hospitals and the message is not spreading among young men, that this is a Problem and a little bit of Information could save you a lot of grief”
