What is a dry orgasm? Men don’t ejaculate when reaching climax during sex

According to a Lovehoney survey of 1,000 people, two thirds of blokes always have an orgasm when they have penetrative sex.

The study, ahead of National Orgasm Day today, also found that blokes can have up to seven different orgasms.

But did you know not every man ejaculates when they reach the finish line?

It’s called a dry orgasm and it only happens to a very small percentage of men.

What is a dry orgasm?

Although we often associate male orgasms with ejaculation, it’s not always the case.

A dry orgasm is when a man reaches the finish line without producing any kind of fluid.

It’s only common in a small percentage of men, who don’t release semen, which is a mixture of sperm (5%) and fluid (95%).

To celebrate National Orgasm Day, Daily Star Online spoke to a sexpert on ways to achieve a mind-blowing finish.

Silva Neves, a We-Vibe sexpert, revealed: “If you focus on your erogenous zones and focus on sexual pleasure, the orgasm will be easier to come.

“If you focus on achieving an orgasm, it will be much harder to get there. The brain is a great sex organ, so it is important for women to check what is in their erotic mind.

“Being comfortable with your body is important too. Many women don’t like their body because of the perfect body image that we often see in the media.”
